Service pricing
How owners currently connect service time, product use, operating expenses, and required profit.
United States research
Salon Business Tools is exploring a US edition of its established UK profit and service-pricing planners. We are speaking with salon owners before adapting the software.
Research stage · No purchase required · Honest feedback welcome
Why we are asking first
The UK planners help salon owners examine service prices using their own operating expenses, employee costs, appointment time, capacity, owner compensation, and profit goals.
Those commercial principles travel well, but the language and assumptions do not transfer automatically. Sales tax, payroll costs, benefits, booth rental, commission structures, and business practices vary across the United States.
We are therefore listening to owners and professional advisors before deciding what belongs in a US edition.
What we are learning
How owners currently connect service time, product use, operating expenses, and required profit.
How employee wages, commission, payroll taxes, benefits, paid time off, and tips affect the salon.
Where employee salons, booth-rental businesses, and mixed models need different planning assumptions.
Our first state
We are beginning with independent, owner-managed hair salons in Fort Worth, Arlington, and the wider Tarrant County area. Focusing on one state lets us test terminology and business assumptions properly before expanding.
